[Today, I made some great bounds in my pronunciation! How are you doing in your pronunciations?]


Seccion llame "Goals para esta semana"

  1. Tener una conversaccion para uno minuto
  2. Leer cuatro libros de ninos en Duolingo
    1. "El nuevo estudiante" 
    2. "Una pregunta"
    3. "A la estacion!"
    4. "El doctor Eddy"
    5. "Un abrigo nuevo!"
    6. "Me gusta leer"

Seccion llame "Practica"

  1. Trabaje en Duolingo (Continue Unit 4)
    1. Attended class with Ismar (Class went great today. I felt that I continue to make more progress in my pronunciation and understanding. Hopefully by the end of this month, I will have the alphabet pronunciation together)
    2. Attended Viajes y Turismo en Paises Hispanos (Focus on this class was my pronunciation, new vocabulary regarded traveling, and sentence structure for conversation.)
    3. Attended Spanish vocabulary practice "Spanish Culture" (Focus was on pronunciation, vocabulary about food (learned about Columbian meals) and music/dance and sentence structure involving me gusta/no me gusta and the use of probar [to use instead of me gusta intentar ______(food item)])
  2. Grabo una conversaccion. (Recording did not go too well today. I had a plan in my head that went left when I started recording. Muy comica!)

Notes: Classes went well today, especially with my pronunciation (goes in the WIN CATEGORY!) My goal is to continue this progress into next well.

 Dia Cuatro Seccion llame "Goals para esta semana" Tener una conversaccion para uno minuto Leer cuatro libros de ninos en Duolingo "El nuevo estudiante"  "Una pregunta" Seccion llame "Practica" Trabaje en Duolingo (completed Unit 3) y leo dos libros "A la estacion!" (Very funny and easy story to read and understand) y "El doctor Eddy" Grabo tres frases para una conversaccion . (I felt more comfortable speaking and talking after watching the "Language Transfer". Trying to speak more naturally without having to translate in my head, which is very hard.) THIS GOES IN THE WIN CATEGORY! Veo "The Comparison Villian" en YouTube. (I very much relate to the examples the speaker discussed in the video. I feel the comparison villain not only when I am comparing myself to others in my class or group but also when I compare myself and my progress with how far along I believe I should be.  Dia Dos [I should point that I am still on the quest to figure out how to add accents. If you know, please let me know in the comments.] Seccion llame "Goals para esta semana" Tener una conversaccion para uno minuto Leer cuatro libros de ninos en Duolingo "El nuevo estudiante"  Seccion llame "Practica" Trabaje en Duolingo  Escucho a Rock 'N Learn  en Youtube todo para el video llame  "Learn Spanish for Beginners-Part 1- Conversational Spanish for Adults and Teens." Lo es parto de listo en Youtube con diez videos. No rapido pero lo tiene animacion. (I recommend this for anyone, like me, is having a hard time with pronunciation or having a conversation. It is formatted with the characters having a conversation. It is slow and they repeat the phrases. These are commonly used phrases in a conversation.) Grabo una conversaccion .   Notas: Happy holidays! Esta semana he sido bueno. This post will be very short. I mainly focused on practicing en Language Transfer and some videos on Youtube. I think at this point I need something to keep track of everything I'm learning on Language Transfer so that I don't forget.  Since the last time I blogged, I worked on more language immersion. I took a Spanish Karaoke class, which was fun. We spoke a little in Spanish before everyone chose a Spanish song to sing to (like regular Karaoke). It was fun exploring the different music available and to practice on my pronunciation with some sight reading. All in all, it was fun. I also had a conversation class, where I was group with other beginners speaking only in Spanish. I learned some new vocabulario such as "pudin de platano" and how to respond and understand in a conversation.
